The Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW) is a professional membership organization that strives to provide a forum to improve the quality of structural engineering and related business practices, to promote engineering professionalism among its members, and to elevate the reputation and image of structural engineers in Washington, DC, and the surrounding area. SEA-MW hosts numerous substantive educational programs over the year, as well as mentoring an professional development programs and volunteer activities. The organization's hallmarks event is its annual awards gala which recognizes outstanding projects in the DC metro region. SEA-MW is a member organization of National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA).
