Who we Are

The Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA-MW) is a professional membership organization that strives to provide a forum to improve the quality of structural engineering and related business practices, to promote engineering professionalism among its members, and to elevate the reputation and image of structural engineers in Washington, DC, and the surrounding area.

SEA-MW hosts numerous substantive educational programs throughout the year, as well as mentoring, professional development programs, and volunteer activities. The organization's hallmark event is its annual awards gala, which recognizes outstanding projects in the DC metro region. SEA-MW is a member organization of the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA).
