Community outreach committee

The SEA-MW Outreach Committee is dedicated to fostering connections, building relationships, and expanding the reach of our organization within the community we serve. Our mission is to engage, inform, and inspire individuals, groups, and stakeholders through meaningful outreach efforts. The SEA-MW Outreach Committee is committed to making a positive impact, fostering meaningful connections, and contributing to the betterment of our community and organization. Our objectives included in our mission statement are:

• Increasing our membership’s outreach in the community through charitable work (rebuilding together, soup kitchen, food bank)
• Cultivating/uplifting future STEM leaders (stem day, job shadowing, high school internships, mentoring)
• Increasing community awareness of structural engineering as a profession and our impact on the building industry (partnering with other organizations for joint events, hosting panels or exhibits that highlight structural engineering projects and contributions, coordinating outreach efforts )

We carry out our mission with passion, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility.
