Jennifer Anna Pazdon, M.Sc. Eng., P.E. | Vice President |CASTCONNEX


Jennifer is Vice President and UK Office Leader at CAST CONNEX. A licensed structural engineer in NY with over 14 years of experience in the design of structures and construction, she received her Bachelors from Carnegie Mellon University and her Masters from Princeton University where she focused her studies on aesthetics, efficiency, and economy of structures. Jennifer has worked as a structural engineering consultant based in NYC, Africa, and SE Asia; she was Teaching Fellow in Mechanics, Materials and Structures at Princeton University and Adjunct Professor of Architecture at The Cooper Union; she is Chair of AASHTO/NSBA TG17: Steel Castings; and she has lectured extensively on the application of steel castings for buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Edward M. Segal | Associate Professor | Hofstra University


Edward M. Segal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering at Hofstra University and leads the Segal Structures Group. The group engages in material exploration, form generation, and historic analysis related to a range of engineering research, design, and teaching activities. Segal received a SOM Foundation Structural Engineering Travel Fellowship in 2008 and the ExCEED (Excellence in Civil Engineering Education) Teaching Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in 2017. In 2019, he was selected to be an ASCE ExCEEd Fellow.

Cervente Sudduth is the President and CEO of DuBois Consultants, Inc. He is an experienced structural engineer and thought leader. He has extensive engineering design experience in traditional design/bid/build projects, as well as Engineer Procure and Construct projects. His experience encompasses Commercial building construction, Water Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, and Power.

Jessica Simon, PE  | Project Manager | Hilti


Jessica is currently working as a Project Manager within the Project Management Office at Hilti in North Texas. Prior to this position, she worked as a consulting structural engineer for 13 years in the Dallas area. During her time in consulting, she served as a Team Leader and Quality Assurance Manager in addition to designing and managing many projects in the higher education, municipal, and healthcare markets. She has also been active in multiple organizations that serve the A/E/C industry and structural engineering profession. She recently served as the President of the Dallas Chapter of Structural Engineers Association of Texas (SEAoT) and is currently the co-chair of the Dallas area Structural Engineering Engagement & Equity (SE3) Committee.
